Production Process

Step 1.
To get a style guide, stylized a real photo of Seoul Station into a flat view of a miniature set style using geneverative AI.

Step 2.
Cleaned it up and separated the main structures.

Step 3.
Split and extrude the 2D mesh into 3D.

Step 8.
Cropped characters from image and upscaled them with AI.

Scene completed!

Step 4.
Generated PBR textures from a flat image

Step 5.
Boosted metallic and reflection on the windows.

Compare the lighting depth when PBR textures are applied

Crop props from image, run Image-to-3D AI, then decimated the polygons.

This is practice of optimizing a 3D scene using AI generated textures and PBR materials on image card planes within a short period.

Placed the props and matched the materials and lighting.
